Really, any of Soul Coughing's albums could've gone on here, they're all equally fantastic, I put El Oso as it's the one I have the most attachment to, but I also do consider it their best, it's more rock than their other albums which were more alternative and hip hop influenced. This album has it's share of both hard rocking tracks like $300 and Misinformed and some more chill stuff like Circles and So Far I Have Not Found The Science, all of which are great tracks, really any song can fit with basically any mood, whether you're sad, chilling, or upbeat, it doesn't matter, there's 100% a track you'll love and will fit your mood. Such a shame these guys ended up breaking up after this album, with The Incumbent being a perfect track to end the band on, even if it wasn't really the intention at first, although with their recent reforming and touring, there's a chance there might be a new album? Who knows, maybe it's better the band ends on such a high note, as much as we wish that there were more to listen to, but hey, at least we have their millions of B-sides and extras they have scattered across various soundtracks and special/foreign editions. :P
