The (censored) cover of QOTSA's Self Titled

You know how hard it was to choose between this or Songs for the Deaf? Ultimately went with this as it has a feel to it that no other QOTSA album seems to match. The riffs (on both guitar AND bass) in this album are so heavy compared to their later albums, whether it's due to how they were recorded or the mixing, it hits so much differently and no other album of theirs can really match it in my opinion. It's also their least talked about to my knowledge which makes me a bit upset, this album deserves to be talked about as much as SFTD, tracks like Mexicola and You Can't Quit Me Baby are up there as some of QOTSA's best, with other standouts being If Only and Avon, it's one of the best albums to listen to in general, whether I'm at home, work, out, driving, it doesn't matter, it fits with just about every situation I'm in. Only real complaint with this album (at least nowadays) is that copies are somewhat expensive for a CD, generally going for about $20+ including shipping, and the album art is a bit... awkward to say the least, had to find an alternate one I could use on here and I still had to censor it.
