Probably the most obscure album on this list, courtesy of our neighbors up north (Winnipeg specifically) from the 90s. The name "Kittens" threw me off when I actually listened to them, I expected them to be indie rock or something then I got hit with the first few seconds of Carpenter and found out these guys were a metal band. But this is a great album regardless, it's loud and chaotic but goddamn is it good to listen to, it's a rather short album admittedly, being only about half an hour long but honestly it's about the perfect length for a band like that. It's long enough to where you can listen to it and not be like "wait, that's it?" by the end, but not so long that it just drags and becomes grating to listen to. The drums in particular are on point, along with the bass being loud and chunky, perfectly fitting a band of this nature.
My only real complaint is that the Japanese on the album cover is incorrect, Szi-Sei isn't proper japanese, while the word for kitten is Koneko, it'd really be rendered as KONEKO TORA SUISEI, but that's just me nitpicking. :P
