Character bio:

From a young age, Rakka always prefered to stay alone and never spent much time playing with others, being exemplified around the start of the 90s due to living in Seattle around the time of Grunge's explosion, getting her into general alternative music even from before she was a preteen. Around the time of her teenage years starting, she got into punk music, specifically the Riot Grrrl genre, but quickly grew disillusioned with the punk scene and still doesn't like it much to this day, just preferring to listen to the music and not bothering to act or be punk. But it was also in her teenage years that she truly discovered her sapphic nature, having always been drawn more towards women even as a kid, before realizing that she was more into women than men when it came to relationships, initially considering herself bisexual, but fully considered herself a lesbian after realizing she wasn't attracted to men at all. Though this led to her often getting shunned due to the stigma attached to being LGBT in the 90s, but she did manage to get friends regardless, and even a girlfriend, although that relationship didn't last long. She first started playing video games in the mid 90s, having not been interested in them as a kid, until the first PlayStation released which got her interested, getting one in 1996 and basically being glued to that thing, and having massive brand loyalty to Sony and PlayStation as a result. Around the turn of the millenium, she got into the growing emo subculture, both due to her really getting into the music which was exploding in popularity around that time, alongside getting internet in mid 2000 and discovering sites dedicated to emo and general alternative girls, which coupled with her turning 18 in '02 and being able to work, led her to start radically changing her appearance, dyeing her hair fully black (although she had to cut it back heavily to avoid damaging it), getting pierced, basically exclusively shopping at Hot Topic and Spencer's, and spending nearly all her time outside of work or college at the mall. While in college, she met Dani and the two managed to become good friends despite being essentially opposites in so many ways, due to having a few shared interests and similar experiences with being queer women. After graduating in 2006, she managed to land a well-paying job and managed to get a decent-sized apartment for herself, even allowing Dani to stay for a bit while she was on rough times. In 2005, she bought the first Guitar Hero game after trying it out at a GameStop's kiosk and was hooked nearly instantly, playing the game constantly and managing to get really good at it, with her love further growing when she got the second a year later, eventually getting into Rock Band when that launched, which first got her to start playing drums, eventually leading her to actually start playing real drums. Also in 2006, she got a PSP and loved the thing to death, playing it damn nearly constantly, even two years later, never being seen without it or her phone whenever she's out. Rakka has had multiple girlfriends throughout both the 90s and 2000s, but never has a relationship last longer than a few months, the longest being about 8 months, having met her current girlfriend, Salem at a music festival in early-mid 2008.

Meta Trivia: Rakka wasn't originally gonna be a wolf, having intended for her to be a coyote mixed with a lynx, but decided against it.
She's bought every single piece of DLC for both Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band up to this point. Has also broken the kick pedal on her Rock Band drumset twice by now.
Has the ability to shapeshift, but doesn't do it nearly as often anymore, having cut down heavily on the forms she switches between.
Bought a PS3 on launch, and gets extremely defensive when people ask why she didn't just buy a 360.
